This is an original Army Document, dated March 21, 1876, with
authentic signature of Brevet Brigadier General Louis H. Pelouze.
On the morning of April 15, 1865, General Pelouze was one of the
dignitaries present in the room when President Abraham Lincoln
died at the Peterson House, across the street from Ford's Theatre.
