I can not remember a time that these were not in my Grandmother's china cabinet. (So nearly half a century!!) Can see no markings of any kind. Does anyone know what they are? There is one large bowl and a set of serving bowls.

I'm having trouble seeing the color on my monitor. Are they dark green or deep purple? What you have is a berry set from the late 1890s to early 1900s with very nice hand enameled decoration in wonderful condition. Deep, jewel-toned glass like this was produced after 1897 and remained popular for about 10 years. Beautiful set!

Thank you, Paul. I thought they were a deep red color, but purple is probably correct. It is wonderful to finally find something out about them! I, too, think it is a beautiful set!

Love the amethyst berry set. I forget the pattern but I know it was made by Jefferson Glass.

Thanks for identifying the maker, antiquefreak66. I love this set, too! One of my favorite items from the china cabinet. :)
