This snuff box was found in my dads closet,(recently deceased) and we are trying to determine if its "real", and if so , whose hallmarks(JG) are in it.
There was a piece of paper in it(typed), which described it,
and gave a year of 1781, Louis XVI... thats it.
no idea where my dad got if from..etc,
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
