Small Antique Butterfly Cast Iron Footed Square Paperweight Marked On Bottom

I got this at an estate sale that was jammed packed full of antiques and collectibles from all over the world. I have no idea what this is.
It could possibly be a paperweight, but it doesn't seem heavy enough.

It's cast iron with a butterfly figure on top. It is footed and there are marks on the bottom. There is what looks like a maker's mark with the numbers 208. It measures 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" x 1 4/8" tall. It weighs 3.4 ounces.
