Vintage Gucci Hard Train case latch repair

I sent this case to GUCCI repair center in New Jersey they told me they were unable to fix it and offered to replace the latches but then the case will lose its integrity and not be all original which is important when collecting if there's a will there is away no it's not my vocabulary
So I solicited assistance from a friend who has the right tools with my direction It came out beautiful I perfected the finished results by painting the Sauter area to match. You don't even notice the repair.
