50 ft. Tape measure. The cloth is not that good. 3" diameter. It looks like Lufkin Rule Co. It appears to rewind manually. This is from Minnesota and I bought it about 35 years ago. I guessed it to be a tool rather than sewing.
Its for measuring logs. A log scalers measuring tape.
It clipss on yourwaist and you walk along a log.It probably has other uses but this is what I've seen them used for and they still do. I have one but newer.
