Eames Zenith 1st generation sea foam rope edge arm shell 1949-50

Immaculate, museum quality first-year production dated by
the "Domes of Silence" glides (embossed onto the black rubber). After the first year, slip-on boot glides were substituted. this is a one-family chair given to the Grandfather who did work for Eames or possibly Herman Miller in Los Angeles. Sea foam is one of 5 colors used when chair was first introduced by Zenith before production went to Herman Miller.
