    This is one of several posts today to celebrate and show why early plastic and vintage plastic jewelry is so fantastic. I will make a collection that hopefully can be of inspiration. I´ll let the photos speak for themselves beacuse here I want to show the variation and ideas. It will take up some space today and I hope you will forgive me for it and see the passion of a collector :).

      Gorgeous RED!! I don't know why I never find translucent red beads! I think when I'm shopping for beads I am always drawn to opaque or carved bakelite or Lucite plastic beads. Then if there's old glass beads around - forget it - I'm sold. LOL

      This is the definition of “eye candy”. Both you and Mary have such amazing collections of Bakelite, and other early plastics. The colors back then were just “ yummy”!
