I have no idea what language or what part of the world this comes from. It appears to be a hand coiled vase that may not have been executed that well despite the fact that the hand carved and applied natural decoration is masterfully done. I have two more pieces by the same artist and I would love to know anything I can about them.

I am curious if anyone can tell me what language this is or even better- what it says. Thank you for the comments- I was starting to think that I was the only one who thought this looked incredible!
