    i think that those are painted turtles - one on each side. can you see the impressed crane design in the second photo? i think that it's Oribe - but am going by the colors. unmarked.

      i think that this is a very interesting vase. i really like the turtles and i've never seen impressed cranes like this. it's very subtle.
