Hi, This was sold as an Astrian M17. Can't find any exact matches. Thought it might be a kind of Berndorf? or an experimental?

German ww1 helmet probably used in the battle of Somme or Verdun or after

I would say a 66 size plate pressed in a smaller size mold, or experimental or both. Cool helmet.

Maybe it's a bit too late, but I too have an helmet similar to this. I made a document compiling all the information I managed to gather, I hope it will be useful: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1vs0yv1mqQJUmODZctQiBKFueyF7rqlCzPQsoHHKcvLU/edit?usp=sharing
