This mysterious object is in the Sinton Texas museum. I have an idea of what it may be but I'm not sure can anyone help me? If you look close there is an eye near the point, and another hole in the wider end.

At the end where there was a sharp point, there is A whole lot appears to be something to thread through. On the handle and they were peers to be another hole that you would thread something through. I thought it might be some kind of awl like for sewing grain bags or flour sacks or something to do with cotton because there's a lot of cotton down here.

Could it be a spinning spindle for cotton?
