Russell Hobs tea making machine with light and corded lead for kettle, trying to be a teasmade and failing?

I have seen many a British Made Vintage retro Teasmade and generally they were well made simple things, that brewed your tea and woke you up.

Such things were wedding presents of the 50s to 80s. I have also seen the Vintage era Russell Hobbs Milk jug warmers and kettles. I've never seen one of these before.

Its Russell Hobs, with a clock, an alarm and the ability for the machine to turn a kettle on when the alarm goes off.
