I found a little wonder flour thimble in holland Michigan. It's very light weight. Nothing else is written on it, and I can not find any information anywhere! Very frustrating! Any info or direction would be greatly appreciated!

I have several like this made from different types material. Mine all came inside packaged food and coffee way long ago. There would have been multiple designs for a given company. They did that so you would buy more of their product so you could collect the entire set. I remember all the ladies collecting them and then swapping for one they didn't have.

I did look into the mill, but I didn't see anything about thimbles. I will try to look a bit deeper into mill! That's a great start! Thank you!

They were called advertising thimbles. I might add that they always sell good on eBay. The wife and I used to buy and sell them, buy for $1 and get $15 in a 7 day auction. Yours is probably 1940's give or take a few years.

The crazy parts is, I dug this exact same thimble metal detecting last night (9/30/25) in Zeeland, Michigan. Your post is the only other one I could find or photo online I could find!
