Hello! I picked up this little fella in a charity shop today. He was donated alongside some lovely Steiff bears/animals. The person donating was unable to say whether this little fox was also Steiff. There is a hole in his ear where a button may once have been? But regardless, whether Steiff or not, I had to have him. That face! So sweet. Do we think he's a fox, or maybe a wolf? Well, either way, he has some real character. Love him. Had to share him!
To me it looks very similar to Berg Austrian toys. The plastic eyes are the same. I have two berg Lions with the same face expression. I didn't found any steiff with those eyes.

Ooh thank you. I'll investigate. Good lead. Yes I've seen a few Schuco toys with the same eyes also. So another possibility perhaps. Thank you for your help!
