    We have this set of Italian silverware and were told that they were from the 1600's but what we've seen so far are similar sets around early 1900's. These are a bit more unique with the intricate carving. We are hoping someone can help us identify them. Only markings are on the two smaller spoons and they say 'ITALY'.

      Well Italy did not exist until 1861 .... Unification. So it must be after that date. They all bear the arms of the city of Florence or Firenze based on the Medici balls.
