The cups have an image on both sides. They have a pale salmon band around the translucent white porcelain. Also have dinner plates and other serving dishes. Per a letter from William D. Haviland, President of the company dated 1955, he believes it was made by a French artist by the name of Henri Sommier, he made the drawings then Haviland made the copper engravings, the colors were then filled in by hand. The shape is 'Cable'. The designs and shape were discontinued in the late 1800's.
