This is an approximately late 1920's hand-crank sewing machine by the German manufacturer Vesta / L.O. Dietrich. The hand-painted flowers are in the "Pansies" pattern, which is apparently a bit less common. Unfortunately, it does not have the cover, but I will be on the lookout for one. The inlay will be restored long-term. <3 It is a beautiful little machine, and I'm thrilled to finally get a hand-crank into my collection.

That is pretty cool. Beautiful artwork too and unusual. A hand cranked machine is on my list too.
