I was just offered this piece from a friend of the family. I don't have much info on it other than it was acquired in Germany during the late 1970s and it's referred to as a Shrunk/Shrank. The friend moved back to Canada in the early 90s and had this shipped to her, where it's been since! The curve on the glass and piece is something unique and interesting to me.
I'm relatively new to antiques but I love this piece and was looking for any more info on it. I haven't had a chance to examine it for maker's marks but looking for what time period it may be from and any interesting tidbits. Also what type of wood it may be?
Googling hasn't turned up much for me!
