I found these lovely pair of small stud earrings at a garage sale. The backs are stamped "Ster" for sterling, however, I have no idea of the type of stone. They have the gritty feel of a pearl (rubbing against the tooth method) but not the sheen. Is it possible that they could be moonstones? All help is appreciated.
Lovely earrings. I think moonstone but there are more knowledgeable bods here than me!
Pretty earrings. With that shape, definitely not pearls. They look like Moonstones in need of a polish.
