This Brazilian shirt belonged to John Lennon. It was given to studio tech Richard Carlson at the Hit Factory Recording Studio in August 1980 during sessions for Lennon's last album, "Double Fantasy". John had clothing and other personal items brought to the studio from his home at the Dakota Apartments where he and wife Yoko Ono lived. They had an extra room at the Hit Factory turned into a "Lounge" where they could relax between takes. Carlson saw the shirt,...told Lennon it looked"Cool"...so John gave it to him!!! Carlson worked at the Hit Factory and the "Power Station" recording studios in NYC.
