    I acquired this from a neighbor a few years back. Both neighbors passed away within the last 7 yrs at 96 and 93 yrs old. I do not doubt this is old but I don't know how old. Does anyone have an opinion on this?

      It is a 1920's lamp, may be finished in brass but more likely just iron and spelter metal.

      If it is old as it looks, the socket and cord have been replaced.
