Hopefully someone who can date my door knobs please? I've dug up two door knobs on the site here in Australia where a house was built in the 1870s, it was replaced by another house in 1936, but pretty much it's the original site. Is there any way that I can tell how old they are please? I think they may be copper given the green patina and are non-magnetic. Approximate diameter 47mm and length 37mm. Please see photos. Any help that you can give is greatly appreciated.
