    I found these2 belt buckles while metal detecting in Virginia. The small I think is more recent, but not sure on them as to age history etc. Any information will be welcome. thanks in advance.

      I think the smaller one is from a 1960's to 1970's military web belt. I wore one in the early 70's in the Army. It's missing the brass cover. What you have is the 'tooth' mechanism.
