Beautiful mahogany bedroom pieces. Does anyone have ideas on time period or name of style?
I don't have any history except our family has it for a long time.

With the towel on top, what style are you looking for ? There appears to be a lot of decorative elements but not working together to form a particular style. Its trying to be neoclassical but then... the maker trys to put too many elements so that the neoclassical is not working. So then the mirror takes over and says 1940's style.

Also a lot of dealers would list it probably as a chippendale style but with the drawer pulls so extravagant, it ruins the chippendale look.

I was particularly impressed with the faux drapery finger pulls nearly matching the header on the mirror. Like PhilDMorris, I was leaning toward 40's as well. I'm guessing this might have been high-end for its day and, if so, would have some identification of the maker somewhere on, in, or around the units.

Thank you for your comments. Will look for identification marks.
