    Hi, I don't know the history or origin of this beautiful hutch. I bought this from a antique dealer. I really love the carved details.

      Its not a hutch - its either a bookcase or a display cabinet, but since the sides are not glass then it is more a bookcase. The egg and dart molding is quite nice, usually these were made in dark finishes, and the escutcheons are similar to mine.

      What was the antique dealer able to tell you about it? Did you inquire about where they bought it or anything about its age?
