It is made of plastic. Roughly a 3 ft diameter with 18 sockets.

Contacted antique shop in Carlinville owned by a person who has collected antiques in that area for 50 plus years and they were stumped.

Was it mass produced? Is it a roadside marquee or advertisement?

    Thanks

I could certainly see that being part of an elaborite (ish) lighted electrical sign for some kind of business, ca. 1950's-60's?? Imagine it populated with clear tubular bulbs, or maybe small multi-colored blinking ones...??

Is there any sort of flasher mechanism or anything hidden inside it?
