    I don't know much about it. My mother played it as a teen. It 's vintage is at least pre 1945. It is a SS Maxwell, apparently.

      Very unusual, I don't anything about your guitar but read the SS Maxwell name was registered in 1931 and the print style on your's looks like what that they used in the 30's & 40's, I understand SS Maxwell was a trademark name of Targ and Dinner, a Chicago based musical instrument distributer.
