Two vintage bead sellers told me these beads are Austrian, mid-century, rare. (I knew they were rare, I've never seen anything like them.) One of them has some like these, but in gray and also brown. I am one of the all-time biggest bead hoarders and can't put it down! They feel like silk. Found on eBay, $20. Thanks for letting me share!
LOL I cannot bring myself to sell any treasure I find either! These are very pretty and I can tell how smooth they would feel in your hand.
