    Hi, I found this old can at a house clear out and have only found 1 picture so far in Pinterest. Lots of oil cans, but no Esso gas cans. Does anyone have any info on this can, like age or rarity? Thanks kindly. PS: I have no idea why the pic went sideways.

      If you look on the bottom of the can, you might find a manufacturers name and a numeric code like 24-5-67. In the example I provided the 24 represents the gauge of steel, the 5 is the number of gallons, and the 67 would be the year (1967) it was manufactured. Your can lithography also says "Imperial Gallons" that likely point to it being produced for a Canadian/British Esso company.
