I consider this a very important piece of 1960s counter culture ephemera. Black Power Newsletter of the Black Panthers Vol. 1 No. 6, May 1967 with the boxing icon Mohammed Ali cover saluting his resistance to the draft. The provocative handwritten headline of "Ali Defies Whitey's Draft - Says HELL NO!" adds to the power of this apparently photocopied newsletter. This came from Oakland California. This dates to before the Black Panthers went to the newspaper format, and I can not imagine many were made and even less still exist, never mind in this condition. A very Historic American piece.

I remember those days HA, schools in NY were very racially divided and there was a lot of violence from the Panthers, it wasn't a fun time. Glad things are better today. Ali was truly the greatest, I loved him
