I bought this vintage Art Deco or Nouveau standing metal ashtray/smoking stand with a gazelle handle last week in Tennessee. The handle is brass and the stand has a bronze hue to it. This ashtray has seen much in its' lifetime. It is worn, rusted and has some white paint on it. It is about 26" tall and about 9 3/4" wide. Sure to be a great conversation piece.
Its fairly common. About 1940's judging by the base. A lot were made in chrome finish also.
You should do a search on that. The only one besides yours i can find is worth $1,364
