    To aid future researchers:

    Courtesy of TallCakes:
Jeannette Glass Company's 'Iris & Herringbone' was first introduced during the depression era. The patterns was made in several colors of glass including this iridescent version from the 1960s. These latter versions or fairly common.

My bowl is 3 1/8" high and 11 1/8" in diameter. My bowl does not sit flat. It rocks a bit.

There are at least three versions of this bowl under carnival glass, but none of the posters went back and corrected their titles, once their bowls were identified. None of the posts give the dimensions of their bowls, either.

When I was first looking at this, I thought, "Hey, this kinda looks like some lamp shades that I have seen." Then I found the article below!

Thanks for loving my Jeanette Glass bowl. I have it on a table by the window, which is a high cat traffic area. Curious to see if it survives! When I finally settled down and bought a house 20 years ago, my mother gave me an old set of Jeanette plates, cups, saucers, etc. which I still use.
