Ok, what I think this is/was, was a general store front counter. It has 48 drawers that have slider separated compartments. It has the rounded glass on either side, is 11.5 feet in length, and weights around 500 lbs. I bought it for $80.00. It has 6 fourecent lights in it. 2 4ft and 4 1ft bulbs.
Just really wondering what it was used for and if I got a good deal.

    Thank you,
    Frank Picett

I also thought a China or silverware display case.

But I have to admit, the guys face when I told him I was making it a bar was priceless.

      Thanks for the comment,
      Frank

Looks a lot like a Cigar counter, which were found in lobbies of hotels and train stations for example. The top part would have open boxes of cigars, while the ends would have fancy displays. The drawers in back for more stock. Just a guess on my part.
Of course you made a great deal.
