1880's/90s caboose potbelly woodstove

I have what I believe to be an 1880s/1890s caboose potbelly woodstove. The story goes, A railroad worker in Main who used this stove was given the stove as a retirement gift. His daughter who was 80 over 10 years ago sold it to a stove restoration company in Massachusetts who sold it to me. I was told it is from the 1880s/90s. I want to confirm this.
