These cards were in a cigar box in my father in law's attic. His father was a railroad man and I think these came from that time. Are they valuable?

If you have some real photo postcards they have some value around 1910 or so. The colour ones of the last 60 years and more go for pennies on the dollar. Lithographed cards need to be quite special to really be worth something.
