This lamp had been converted to electric. The lamp had been made to light both the upper and lower sections. The wiring was in poor condition. They had cut the bottom off of the oil canister to make room for the wiring and a light bulb. I rewired the lamp and have been trying to locate another canister so if I wanted to I could convert it back to oil in a few minutes. The lamp is 26" high and 10" at it 's widest. Circa 1890's.
