Watneys Red Barrel UK ceramic ashtray

A very nice looking earlier example of Watneys Red Barrel (Watneys Keg) UK made ceramic ashtray. In fabulous condition with only a couple of scuff marks on the red barrel branding but nothing that detracts from its overall look. The maker's mark is from Bristol Pottery but shows no date. I've posted a couple of later examples of Red Barrel ashtrays I have, but this is certainly of a late 60's vintage. A great looking ashtray and I'm proud to have it in my collection.
