Unusual Plastic Cuff

I have been too busy recently to post my latest finds but I am trying to catch up. Let me start with this unusual cuff:
The cuff is unmarked but appears to be very well made. I believe that it was made of some sort of laminated layers of plastic. In a way, the cuff reminds me of some of the creations of Lea Stein, however, I searched quite a bit for a cuff like this but didn't find anything close.
The quality of the cuff is exceptional, so I don't think it was just a student piece.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
