    I have my grandfather's ring. I don't know what kind of metal it us as it doesn't say. This ring is very old and has that odd inscription inside. I wish I knew more about it.

      Wow! Thank you so much for that information keramikos! I really appreciate it :) I don't think the metal is silver as it has never tarnished in any way. Maybe it's nickle or maybe titanium or platinum. Ironic that the name is Uncas because it's so close to Lucas (Lucas was my grandfather's last name) Anyway, thank you again. I have another ring that I'm curious about that I will post tomorrow.
