This is another basket on my friend's wall. it is an open weave.

Any ideas of who made this basket and if it is pre 1900?

    Thanks!

Sorry, but this isn't Native American. It is from the Philippines, made from nito, a local vine native to the Philippines. The vine is known for its decorative color range, from light tan to dark brown. The basket is contemporary (mid- to late-20th century to the present.)
