Hello, this crate is the barnyard find from Polish village. I have no idea what is that, I thought it could be a vintage car trunk, but it's quite big. Dimensions is 120 x 80 x 80 ( in centimetres). If anyone can say anything about it, I would be really grateful. Thanks in advance .
Early 1900's to 1920's give or take a bit, monitor style, had rounded front and back top edge's, I don't believe this one was designed for the back of a car, not to say it couldn't have been used for that, this was a travel trunk, obviously metal covered and has been in a very damp or wet area as the bottom edges are rusted out.
