This is part of the picture the rest is a Japanese scene of the same design. My Aunt’s parents were avid art collectors and she inherited some of their work. Her father was in the military they moved around quite a bit. From Japan in the forties, to Hawaii and Chicago etc.
It is a beautiful watercolour.
