Whisky or whiskey

My momma gave me this bottle and said she thought it had liquor in it she thinks it’s very old, I don’t know, it had a plastic ring just under where the cork was on the cap. The cork came all to pieces when the cap was removed . I don’t think it is to awful old, but would appreciate some info if someone knows something about it
