My local antique dealer had the clothing made from 18th century vestment material. Do you like him better clothed or not clothed?

I like both ways but I see him as a creche but maybe not Jesus ? Very neat piece !! I am a purist so I guess without clothes ? How ever you love him is what matters

      Manikin,
I just went by what the antique dealer told me. I love him regardless. Thank for your opinion on the clothes...still debating...

I am intrigued by this Santos / Creche Saint . Can you show me how neck is attached and how tall is he ? and a photo of back side . Maybe remove a few of the gown ? Or send them to me email ? It is in my profile . I can see glass eyes they look painted ? Bear with me I am always learning :-)

      Manikin,
Of course, but give me several days, for I hung him high on the wall. Funny, but I did not even check his eyes out myself, but just wrote what was on the tag.

Ok I will watch for a email or post :-) Thank you I have to study him if you don't mind my researching for my future knowledge as I have always tried to be on top of Creche and Santos figures. Hugs

      Manikin,
I promise you...just a few days. The back should be easy because the clothes do not go completely around. I was so afraid of breaking it, so I hung it up right away :)
