SALESMAN SAMPLE FENCE GATE

Very interesting Salesman Sample fence gate made with brass tubing and fittings. It was designed to be elevated to clear obstructions in its path. Have not found a patent. There is a metal plate on the base that says "Prairie States Mfg. Co., Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Can anyone share information about the Company? I like it so much that I had a postage stamp made of it.

Mystery Solved February 18, 2014. Found patent. Model appears to have modification of means to elevate gate.
