Are these little guys meant to rattle? I assume their outfits were lovingly handmade and sewn to their bodies. How old are they?

There is a reference to Irwin here https://dollreference.com/celluloid_dolls1869_1950s.html
Irwin & Company 1926+ (USA), made cloth, composition, celluloid and hard plastic dolls, doll mark Non-Flam circle Irwin Made in USA.
Are they made of celluloid or hard plastic? The material might help in identifying their age.
      They are very cute!

Thank you for the info. I think they are hard plastic.
    4. arctophilegirl, 2 years ago
If they are hard plastic, they were probably made in the late 1940s or early 1950s.
