My friend gave me this, he said it was his great grandfathers from possibly the 30s

On the blade it says RODONSTAHL and on the other side ROSFREI STAINLESS.

Just wanting to make sure if its really that old if its worth anything.

Rodonstahl would most likely have been the name of the merchant that sold the knife. The part of the handle that is scratched off would have had a Hebrew inscription that translated to "Holy Sabbath".
      Rosfrei translated means Rust Free.
In it's condition it has very little value.
