So I came across this Oil Lamp, and cant find anything similar to it online. I've seen similar lamps in sterling silver also from Tiffany & Co., and was wondering if anyone here had any idea as to what it would be worth to a collector. I've seen it been referred to as a "cigar lamp", but it's just an antique styled oil lamp. Like from Aladdin. I know it's real, solid gold as i got it tested by a professional, but that just makes it all the more confusing to me, as I can't find anything else like it online. any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
History I found:
Hanson–Van?Winkle–Munning Co. was an electroplating?/?metal finishing equipment manufacturer based in Matawan, New?Jersey. It began as Hanson & Van?Winkle, merged with the A.P.?Munning Company in 1927, later became part of M&T Chemicals (subsidiary of American Can) by 1964. The company was active in the 1930s–1960s, supplying plating machines and chemical compounds. Their equipment is documented in trade show photos and film reels from that era.
August?P.?Munning: Born in 1897 in Illinois, died in 1960 in New?Jersey. Likely the “A.P.?Munning” of the merged company
