This is my cherished vintage Avon 1876 Cape Cod Glass Collection in Ruby Red ( they also had a set in blue) passed down to me by my Grandmother-In-Law who has since passed. She was so special and this will forever keep her in the hearts of my hubby and me.
There are over 100 pieces to this set and I have just about all of it. I don't mean to make this long but I am sure some of y'all want to know what is all included so here it goes:

Quick history to whomever may have interest:
The Avon 1876 Cape Cod Glass Collection drew its inspiration from the Roman Rosette classical pattern. The deep ruby red glass was produced by the Wheaton Glass Company for Avon from 1975-1992.
The designs originated from the 1825 company, Boston & Sandwich Glass Works which operated in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. The number “1876” comes from the 100th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence being signed.
